About Cranberry

Cranberry is a fast-growing technology company based in the world heritage city of Bath, in the UK. The company specialises in building hardware and software solutions for server-based computing and application virtualisation markets. Cranberry’s latest innovation, the SC21 Smart Client, is a small, energy-efficient device with all the power and peripheral support of a PC. The SC21 is based upon the Intel Atom chipset which requires just a fraction of the power of a conventional PC. It also offers greater levels of security. The SC21 runs a Microsoft Embedded Standard (based on Windows XP SP3) operating system and new software components can be added easily at any time.

Cranberry is a Microsoft Embedded Partner; one of a small number of companies licensed to customise MS operating systems and has produced thin and smart client software for other hardware vendors. This close working relationship with Microsoft means Cranberry customers will always be able to adopt the very latest in software and technology trends.
